Brief Overview of Research and Public Engagement

  • From 2014 to 2018, worked as a lecturer in the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines and Foreign Languages and Professional Training at M. Gabdullin Kokshetau Academy, Republic of Kazakhstan. Holds the special service rank of Senior Lieutenant of Civil Protection.
  • From 2018 to 2022, worked as a lecturer in the Department of Russian Philology and Library Science at Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, a non-profit joint-stock company. From 2023 to 2025, she served as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of European Languages and Language Didactics at Transbaikal State University in Chita, Russian Federation.
  • Since September 2026, has been working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of General Linguistics and Literature.
  • In February 2024, delivered a lecture course entitled “Young Translator” for students in Grades 10–11 in Chita and the Transbaikal region.
  • From December 2020 to December 2021, she led an internal university project at Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University במסגרת the “Youth and Science” competition. The project was entitled “Smart Study in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language in the Context of Developing a Digital Educational Environment in a Non-Linguistic Setting.” The outcome was an educational platform for international students.
  • From May 2020 to May 2022, was a member of the educational project “UNO-KSU PARTNERSHIP BUILDING THROUGH ENHANCEMENT OF ENGLISH OF STEAM TEACHING” (Kokshetau–America), implemented under the UNICEN partnership programme between universities in the United States and Kazakhstan.
  • A. I. Malikova is an active participant in various national and international educational and research groups, courses, seminars, webinars, and projects.
  • In September 2015, she was awarded the “Malik Gabdullin” medal by the Republican Public Association “Veterans of the Armed Forces.”
