"Проект №597985-EPP-1-2018-1-KZ-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP ′′New and innovative courses for Precision Agriculture (NICOPA), funded by the ERASMUS+ program of the European Union, invites all suppliers to participate in a tender for the supply of computers, multimedia, audio and video and other equipment to several universities in Kazakhstan.


The deadline for submitting bids is Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 17: 00 local time in Berlin.

On August 10, 2020, the next Zoom conference on the project "New and innovative courses in precision agriculture (NICOPA)"was held.

The meeting was attended by European partners and partners from universities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as an external expert of the project, Dr. Andrey Girenko.

We discussed a number of important issues:

Implementation of protocol tasks agreed upon at previous meetings;

Execution of reports for 18 months of project implementation;

Recommendations on project implementation by an external expert Dr.Andrey Girenko;

Issues of purchasing equipment.

Also local coordinators and heads of educational programs of S.Seifullin KazATU and Sh.Ualikhanov Kokshetau University was presented with modernized educational programs, modified taking into account the experience of European universities.

Two educational programs "Agronomy" and "Agricultural Engineering and Technology" (Bachelor's and Master's degrees) were upgraded at our university. In these educational programs, such relevant disciplines related to precision agriculture were introduced as "Remote sensing and application of Earth-related and environmental data", "Using SENTINEL 1-2-3 images for monitoring agricultural fields", " Global Navigation Satellite Systems (NAVSTAR, GLONASS, GALILEO, etc.)","Yield sensors for precision farming", "Physical properties of soil and their measurement" and others.
