Members of Ualikhanov University’s Board of Directors Hold Working Meetings with University Staff

On October 28 - 29, members of the Board of Directors of Ualikhanov University paid a working visit to the university. The visit included a regular meeting of the Board of Directors and discussions with faculty and staff from the S. Sadvakasov Agrotechnical Institute, the Higher School of Business and Law, and the Pedagogical Institute.

The meetings were attended by Naiman Kalabayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Temirkhan Tolkynbayev, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board’s Committee on Strategy, Human Resources and Remuneration.

During discussions with institute and school leadership, heads of departments, and academic staff, participants reviewed development plans, key areas of activity, and priorities for the coming period.

Particular attention was given to improving the quality of education, achieving strategic performance targets, strengthening research capacity, and supporting faculty development. Participants also exchanged views on the future development of academic units and discussed approaches to addressing current challenges in line with the university’s strategic priorities.

As part of the visit, the Board members toured newly established laboratories and explored modern equipment designed to enhance students’ practical training and expand opportunities for scientific research.

The meetings provided an opportunity for open dialogue between the Board of Directors, academic leadership, and faculty members. This engagement helped identify the current needs of academic units, discuss their development prospects, and explore effective approaches to achieving shared objectives.

Open dialogue and constructive cooperation between the Board of Directors and the university community provide a strong foundation for Ualikhanov University’s continued development, the improvement of educational quality, and the strengthening of its academic and research potential.
