The Ualikhanov University delegation took part in the Study in Kazakhstan international exhibition and the First Forum of Universities of Kazakhstan and Indonesia

On June 14–15, 2026, in Jakarta, the capital of the Republic of Indonesia, the Study in Kazakhstan international educational exhibition and the First Forum of higher and postgraduate education institutions of Kazakhstan and Indonesia were held for the first time. The events were organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Ualikhanov University delegation participated in these events.

The event was organized with the support of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Indonesia and the Embassy of Indonesia in Kazakhstan. The exhibition was held at the Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School in Jakarta.

During the exhibition, Ualikhanov University presented its educational programs, research potential, international partnerships, and student life. Meetings were also held with school students, their parents, and representatives of the educational community.

In addition, the delegation participated in the university forum held at Multimedia Nusantara University, where issues of developing academic cooperation, implementing joint educational programs, conducting research, and expanding academic mobility were discussed.

As part of the visit, the Rector of Ualikhanov University, Marat Kadyruly Syrlybayev, signed cooperation agreements with President University and Multimedia Nusantara University. These agreements are aimed at developing academic and scientific collaboration.

The agreements provide for expanding academic mobility for students and faculty, conducting joint research, and implementing educational and research projects in the fields of Data Science, journalism, law, and business.

The Study in Kazakhstan international exhibition is an important platform aimed at increasing the global recognition of Kazakhstan’s higher education and strengthening partnerships between universities. Ualikhanov University will continue to expand international cooperation, attract new partners, and develop academic mobility and joint research projects.
