Ualikhanov University Library Enriched with New Academic Publications
The scientific library of Ualikhanov University has been enriched with a valuable collection of academic literature. The Institute of History and Ethnology named after Sh. Ualikhanov (Almaty) has generously donated nearly 500 scholarly publications to Ualikhanov University.
On April 20, 2026, as part of a working visit to Kokshetau, Ualikhanov University welcomed Konstantin Cherepanov, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor, Head of the Department of 20th-Century History of Kazakhstan at the Institute of History and Ethnology.
On the eve of National Book Day, he presented the University’s Vice-Rector, Ardak Kapyshev, with the first copies of academic collections prepared by the Institute’s researchers.
The donated publications cover a wide range of topics in the history of Kazakhstan and will serve as an important academic resource for students, master’s and doctoral candidates, and faculty members.
The addition of these fundamental works to the library collection contributes to the development of research culture and expands opportunities for scholarly activity in the field of historical studies.
