Supporting Youth Environmental Initiatives

Today, Ualikhanov University hosted an educational seminar titled “Eco-Ambassadors” as part of the nationwide environmental campaign “Taza Qazaqstan” (“Clean Kazakhstan”). The seminar was organized by the Akmola Region Youth Resource Center in cooperation with the Zhasyl El youth labor teams.

The event brought together students, volunteers, and young people actively involved in environmental initiatives.

During the seminar, participants exchanged experiences and discussed practical approaches to implementing environmental projects, household waste sorting, the efficient use of natural resources, and the development of environmental volunteering.

The event also included an award ceremony for the winners of the “Best Environmental Project” competition.

Two projects were named winners: “One Youth, One Tree” by Khuat Aqsungkar and “ECO QALQAN – A Clean City, a Green Future” by Ayaulym Darkhanbek. Each winner received a certificate worth KZT 300,000 to support the implementation of their project.

Initiatives like these encourage young people to turn environmental awareness into practical action. Ualikhanov University will continue supporting projects that engage young people in environmental protection and contribute to the goals of Taza Qazaqstan.
