Applications for Kazakhstan's State Educational Grant Competition are now being accepted. For the 2026 - 2027 academic year, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has allocated more than 60,000 state educational grants for undergraduate study programmes.

In addition to the grants available through the general competition, Ualikhanov University has been allocated an additional 335 state educational grants in the fields of teacher education, engineering, and agriculture.

Of these additional grants, 175 are designated for teacher education programmes, while 160 are allocated to engineering and agricultural programmes. More than 40 undergraduate programmes offered by Ualikhanov University participate in the State Educational Grant Competition.

The additional grants are available for a wide range of high-demand academic programmes, including Teacher Education in Pedagogy and Psychology, Preschool Education, Primary Education, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Kazakh Language and Literature, Russian Language and Literature, and Foreign Languages. Additional grants are also available for engineering and agricultural programmes, including Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking, Transport Engineering and Technologies, Food Production, Urban Planning, Construction and Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, and other in-demand fields of study.

Applications for undergraduate admission are accepted from 1 July to 25 August 2026. Applications for participation in the State Educational Grant Competition are accepted from 13 to 20 July 2026.
