Professor Robert Williamson from Canada Visits Ualikhanov University

Ualikhanov University is hosting Professor Robert Williamson, an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University (Canada) and an expert in the field of inclusive education.

As part of his visit, Rector Marat Syrlybayev met with Professor Williamson to discuss the development of inclusive education, opportunities for academic collaboration, and prospects for joint research and educational initiatives.

Professor Williamson will be working at the university until April 29. During his stay, he will deliver guest lectures, mini-courses, seminars, and consultations for students, master’s and doctoral students, as well as faculty members.

The visit program also includes meetings with the university’s research teams, participation in academic events, and discussions on expanding international cooperation in the field of inclusive education.

Professor Williamson’s visit provides an important opportunity for knowledge exchange, professional dialogue, and the strengthening of international academic partnerships.
