Student Constitutional Forum Held at Ualikhanov University
On May 19, a Student Constitutional Forum on the topic “Constitutional Development of Kazakhstan in the Modern Period” was held at Ualikhanov University. The forum became an important scientific and discussion platform dedicated to current issues of constitutional development in the Republic of Kazakhstan, strengthening democratic institutions, the rule of law, and the development of civil society.
During the forum, participants discussed constitutional reforms, the protection of human rights, the expansion of citizens’ participation in the socio-political life of the country, as well as the development of political pluralism and legal culture.
The event brought together leading scholars of Kazakhstan, members of the academic staff, representatives of law enforcement agencies, the scientific community, media representatives, as well as students and young researchers.
The keynote speakers included Alua Salamatovna Ibrayeva - Doctor of Law, Professor, and Academician of the National Law Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan - and Dinara Kanatovna Tazhenova, Head of the National Human Rights Center. The experts spoke about the key amendments introduced in the New Constitution and discussed their significance for the country’s further legal and democratic development with students.
The forum became an important platform for open dialogue, exchange of ideas, and the promotion of constitutional values among young people.
