Ualikhanov University Hosts Talk with Didar Smagulov on Law, Responsibility, and the Role of Youth

On April 30, 2026, Ualikhanov University hosted a meeting with independent anti-corruption expert and lawyer Didar Smagulov as part of the project “Respect the Law – Respect Yourself.”

The event was held within the framework of national efforts to promote the principles of “Law and Order” and to strengthen legal awareness among young people. Students from the Higher School of Business and Law took part in the meeting.

During his talk, the speaker outlined the key foundations of modern legal ideology, emphasizing the rule of law, equality before the law, transparency and accountability of public institutions, as well as respect for human rights and the principle of justice.

Particular attention was given to the importance of developing legal consciousness among youth, fostering civic responsibility, and encouraging a conscious, values-driven approach to the law.

Such meetings play a meaningful role in shaping students’ professional outlook, deepening their interest in the legal field, and reinforcing an understanding of the law’s role in society. They also contribute to building strong professional and civic values among future specialists.
