Ualikhanov University held psychological support sessions for students from Palestine who recently arrived to study under the Study in Kazakhstan scholarship program.

University psychologist Altyn Manapova met with two groups of newly arrived students, focusing on their adjustment to a new cultural and academic environment, stress management, and emotional well-being.

During the sessions, students discussed the challenges of adapting to life in a new country, including cultural differences and potential difficulties during their first months in Kazakhstan. They also learned practical techniques for managing stress, reducing anxiety, and maintaining emotional balance.

Altyn Manapova introduced students to the university's Psychological Support Service, explaining the availability of individual consultations and group sessions, confidentiality principles, and how to access psychological support.

These sessions aim to help international students feel more confident in their new environment, adjust to university life, and access the support they need throughout their studies.
