On October 22, Ualikhanov University welcomed two prominent Kazakhstani journalists, Galymzhan Kenshilik and Akdariga Mukhaddas, for an inspiring meeting with students.
The guests shared insights from their professional careers, discussed the realities of modern journalism, and offered practical advice on developing essential media and communication skills. During an open Q&A session, students had the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the speakers.
Following the main session, both journalists led separate workshops.
Galymzhan Kenshilik delivered a workshop titled “On Air and On Point: The Secrets of Effective Speaking,” exploring on-air presentation, voice control, speech techniques, and ways to communicate confidently and effectively with an audience.
Akdariga Mukhaddas led a workshop on “Modern Approaches to Producing Image-Building Programs and Reaching Domestic Audiences Abroad,” sharing her experience in media production and communicating with Kazakhstani audiences in an international media environment.
The event brought together journalism students and students from other academic programs, giving them a valuable opportunity to learn directly from experienced media professionals.
The meeting offered fresh perspectives, practical knowledge, and inspiration for students exploring their future career paths.
A big thank-you to our guests for sharing their experience, insights, and inspiration with our students!
