On June 22, 2026, a Round Table discussion was held at Ualikhanov University within the framework of the scientific and technical program BR22883585, “Development of Effective Technologies for Enhancing Productive Potential and Rational Use of Pastures” for 2024–2026, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event brought together Associate Professor and Professor Rashit Nurgaziyev, agricultural producers, representatives of the Akmola Regional Department of Agriculture and Land Relations, the Akmola Regional Branch of the State Commission for Variety Testing of Agricultural Crops, as well as researchers from the Department of Agriculture and Bioresources.

Opening the meeting, Professor Rashit Nurgaziyev emphasized that the university’s agricultural scientists, in collaboration with leading researchers across Kazakhstan, are currently implementing research projects aimed at establishing highly productive pasture ecosystems and improving the sustainable use of grazing lands.During the discussion, A.Yekhsanov, A. Ramazanov, M. Auzhanova, and A. Alpysov highlighted the significant potential of the Akmola region for strengthening the feed base of the livestock sector. Participants also exchanged views on current challenges and перспективы развития forage production and sustainable livestock farming.The round table concluded with a shared commitment from the scientific community and industry representatives to strengthen cooperation and jointly address key challenges facing livestock production and feed development in the Akmola region.
