Today, Ualikhanov University welcomed a delegation of students from the International Information Technology University (IITU), Almaty.

The visit aims to strengthen academic, cultural, and youth cooperation between the two universities, foster new friendships among students, and introduce the guests to the university’s educational environment as well as the history and culture of the Akmola region.

Over the coming days, participants will take part in a rich program that includes visits to the university’s academic and research facilities, educational and cultural activities, and excursions to the most notable landmarks of Kokshetau and the Akmola region.

The first day of the program began with the intellectual game “Zheti Qazyna,” organized as part of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to promote a culture of reading.

The event was designed to encourage reading among young people, increase interest in literature, and foster reading culture. During the game, participants tested their knowledge of Kazakh and world literature, renowned authors, literary characters, and classical literary works.

The activity served not only as an intellectual competition but also as an excellent opportunity for students from both universities to meet, exchange ideas, and build new connections. Participants demonstrated strong teamwork, broad knowledge, and a genuine interest in literary heritage.

Such initiatives contribute to strengthening interuniversity cooperation, expanding students’ cultural and academic horizons, and creating opportunities for future joint educational and research projects. We wish our guests a productive and memorable stay at Ualikhanov University, filled with new experiences, meaningful connections, and lasting impressions!
