As part of the implementation of the Jean Monnet Module “European Union: Promoting Cultural Diversity and Tolerance (EUDIVE)”, a key academic deliverable has been successfully completed - the publication of a research article. The article, titled “Pre-service English as a Foreign Language Teachers’ Perceptions of Cultural Diversity: Insights from a Jean Monnet Module”, presents the results of a mixed-method study conducted among pre-service EFL teachers. The research explores how participation in the EUDIVE course influenced students’ understanding of cultural diversity, their attitudes toward multiculturalism, and their awareness of European Union values. The findings indicate that students perceive cultural diversity as a multidimensional concept encompassing tolerance, respect, inclusivity, and intercultural understanding. Moreover, the study demonstrates a significant positive shift in students’ perceptions and attitudes after completing the course, as well as a high level of satisfaction with the course content and teaching approaches.
